Education Change

Education is one of the key factors in growing up. Without an education, how could one possible go anywhere in life if they don't know anything. Thats why i go to school. Everyday, i go to school for six hours to learn, and have a bright future. In South Florida, the public school system isn't exactly great. Some schools are, and the school I'm zoned for isn't really that bad. But i know that a lot of them are. If there was one thing that i could change about school, logically, I would make public school classes smaller. I personally don't really mind school. Classes can obviously be boring but its really not that bad. theres nothing that i can do about a few boring teachers, you know. I think it'd be really enjoyable at school if we had more pep rallies, and spirit days. I'm a very spirited person, so school spirit is kind of my thing. But the point of school is to get an education, the social aspect isn't that bad either.

In Three Years

 In Three Years

In three years, I will be a senior in high school, sending out applications for college. The colleges I hope to attend are either University of Michigan, UNC Chapel Hill, or UCLA.  These schools are all top 30 schools in the nation. So obviously, they won't be easy to get into. To be accepted to any of my choice colleges I need to have a strong GPA, high SAT and ACT scores, and plenty of extra-curricular's. Lucky for me, i have a legacy at two out of three of those schools. At University of Michigan, two of my cousins are currently students, which leaves a legacy for me. My brother will be attending UCLA in the fall, so he will hold a legacy for me there. All three of these schools have the most important factors that I see in a college. They all have great academics, killer school spirit, and good weather (I like the cold). which makes you think, why not UF? I do have Florida Prepaid. But all three schools are far from home. Which sounds bad that I want to get away from my parents, but i think being away from home is a huge factor in the college experience.
